Zersten is a brand by designer Sarah Bischoff. When discussing logo design, Sarah stated that she appreciated the single word and single letter logos of other high fashion brands. She wanted something "edgy" and "a little dirty", so I began to look at fonts with texture. Since Sarah is a huge fan of historical fashion and often references different eras in her clothing, Blackletter came to mind. I found the perfect marriage of these ideas in Adhesive Nr. Seven.
The navy was used due to Sarah's preference of having it be just a little bit different than black.
